Information We Collect

Data Stored Locally (On Your Device)

The following data is stored only on your Mac using Apple's SwiftData framework:

• House configuration (rooms, room types, room names)
• Cleaning tasks and completion status
• Household member names
• App preferences (accent color, text size)
• Declutter projects and tasks

This data never leaves your device. We cannot access it, and it is not transmitted to any server.

Analytics Data

We use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage analytics. This helps us understand how the app is used and identify crashes.

What we collect:

• App launch events
• Feature usage (e.g., "setup completed", "task completed")
• Crash reports
• App version and macOS version
• Device type (Mac model family)

What we DO NOT collect:

• Your name, email, or any personal identifiers
• Room names or task names
• Household member names
• Any content you enter into the app
• Location data
• IP addresses (TelemetryDeck strips these)

Children's Privacy

Tidy Steward is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
